Chris Van Hollen has said he will go to El Salvador to check on Abrego Garcia if he is not released. All of the Democratic senators should go with him and demand his release.

Mohsen Mahdawi of White River Junction, Vermont was illegally detained by ICE during what was supposed to be the final step in his citizenship process. Mr. Mahdawi, a legal resident of the US, must be afforded due process under the law and immediately released from detention.

I understand people who get overwhelmed with politics and want nothing to do with it. But politics affects almost every aspect of life. Being apolitical, to me, is a privilege. One that is only attainable when rights are acknowledged and democracy is sustained.
