What did you expect them to say about a player that's leaving them on a free 🤣 (Seems they wanted to keep him but were cautious in what they offered due to his recent injuries)
comment in response to post
Seems he has a pretty nice gaff too...

What 😱😳😱😳 No. No. No.

Thanks. Had me puzzled. Those 4 are clearly the big money/%share investors from what angus said

Didn't realise that...CJ Riley and him both out of contract is a bit of a disaster
comment in response to post
If that doesn't stick they'll claim it's a false flag conspiracy

Exactly as I post that another example in the build up to Crofts try... How long was Williams allowed to hold Miller down without a set restart. Obviously didn't matter in the end but was as clear a holding down as you'll ever see. #sl

Wish I had "a bit of the berardis" about me 😔😍

Couple of token sub-genres (grime and hyperpop) thrown in whilst entire genres are ignored 🤷🏼‍♂️

And lays like Dan James with a massive glow up... (...as in not actually at all like him but plays a similar attacking position 🤣)
comment in response to post
😢 Would have loved him to come home and take over the Uncle Josh role

Do you also get the experience that a track that you love comes on and she insists she discovered it entirely independently... ...then goes yeah ok maybe I did get just that one from you 🤣

Despite loving a Kendrick and Tyler the creator my 18yo daughter also has a "nostalgia" play list she keeps adding to, it ranges from 2000s to things like this 1950s blues track...I have no idea how she has discovered some of it

For the teenagers I'm not sure it's changed much - they just discover lots of different music through friends the same way I did at their age.
comment in response to post
I thought it started to touch on the interesting part here but never expanded enough. The change in how music spreads is interesting. Both me and my teenage kids never listen to the radio anymore. For me this means I hear very little new music unless I actively try...

I'd also say Tupac, Outcast and Dre (for NWA and as a producer) are in the discussion. (Feels like the article was written focusing on pop and then added grime as an afterthought...which then opens up an entirely different discussion)
comment in response to post
I find it a bit weird that the article mentions grime but totally ignores most other genres beyond pop Surely most candidates for musical geniuses from the last 30+ years would be in the various genres of hip hop?

Unsurprisingly given the price tag, he's very special. Can't think of any team that he wouldn't walk into. He does everything you want from an AM - dangerous dribbler, good passer, scores goals, creates goals, high work rate. And he's only 22. I'd have him over Brendy any day 🤣

I think the plan is just to have 3 decent CBs and play 2 of them so that Ampadu can stay in midfield. We need more depth.

The rules are such that we literally can't compete. Their single signing is as much if not more than our entire PSR allowable spending. Insane. And that's without Liverpool even being in that stupid club world cup which is practically designed to increase the have/have-nots design in all leagues
comment in response to post
Even at his best he isn't solid defensively - positioning and tackling aren't strengths In the EFL he barely defended, we mainly rely on 2 CBs + CDM cos the majority of times we were only worried about counter attacks Don't get me wrong he's become a cult hero and it's a shame to see him go
comment in response to post
It's a bit of both in reality. As we've seen in the last 2 years he's a great attacking full back. He's not a great defensive player though and in the PL we will need to defend an awful lot more.
comment in response to post
Transfer window is shut until the 16th June tho due to the stupid club world cup. PL transfers will probably have a spike at the end of the month as clubs try to squeeze things into PSR year
comment in response to post
Renewing his contract was never even an option in the championship.

Wonder if James Milner was an influence. He's fluent and learnt whilst at Liverpool (just to help his team mates).
comment in response to post
James Milner learnt Spanish without even moving abroad - to help his Spanish speaking teammates. Maybe his influence rubbed off on TAA
comment in response to post
It's weird that there was a whole narrative about Parker's defensive approach being with a view to how they perform subsequently in the PL and yet they're probably not going to have the key members of that defence (I believe Esteve is also being heavily linked with a move away)

Fuckin hell...Google says that coffee account is near Winchester. Radz to buy Southampton?

Yes please

Just conveniently directed it towards Bellingham and the goal 🤔 Looked entirely deliberate to me.
comment in response to post
No was definitely below his shoulder. Was upper arm so the decision is purely whether it was deliberate. For me he clearly flicked his arm to direct the ball.
comment in response to post
If he'd not flicked his arm you'd have an argument. I thought it was a deliberate handball when it happened and the replays didn't change my mind.
comment in response to post
Was clearly a handball by Colwell. I said it immediately. Fuck knows what Dixon has been on.
comment in response to post
Can't understand it. Even in normal time I thought it was really really clear that he flicked it on with his upper arm...yet Dixon was on about Bellingham not handballing 😳

Gotta get the Ryan Kent deal over the line first

Oh, interesting...so the Risman in the cardiff statue is Gus, Bev's father. Who played for Salford and Workington (and I think captained GB) Bev player for Leeds just prior to the great team of the late 70s www.therhinos.co.uk/article/1903...
comment in response to post
Must admit I know less about Risman and his story is probably very different to Sullivan and Boston. I always think of them together because of the statue in Cardiff but it's probably wrong to as he was actually much earlier because his career spanned WWII
comment in response to post
Hopefully it will shine more light on the story of Boston, Sullivan and Risman. There's an easy tendency to dismiss their move north as just being about money and ignore the realities of how their opportunities in Welsh Union were limited by racism
comment in response to post
Amazing that he's leagues first knighthood. (Maybe if he hadn't died so young it would/could/should have been Clive Sullivan)
comment in response to post
Tanganga is an interesting one as apparently he has a sub £2m release clause for PL sides (goes a long way to explain how he ended up at Millwall). If he's happy to be a squad player that's surely a no-brainer
comment in response to post
Already an FPL superstar 🤣
comment in response to post
Neither were even the worst signed in their specific transfer windows...Rasmus and McKennie would comfortably take those titles
comment in response to post
Utter disgrace to leave out fatty McKenzie
