FROM: NBA LEAGUE OFFICE April 16, 2025 For the duration of the playoffs, new officiating guidelines will be in effect: 1. More general defensive contact will be allowed throughout play, in order to improve gameflow and decrease stoppages 2. The last 2 minutes of every game will be "The Purge"
