if you have Roku devices, do yourself a favor and install Playlet. it's Youtube without ads there are tradeoffs: playback resolution is limited to 1080p, videos with content warnings (for self-harm, etc) don't play at all (possibly a settings issue on my end)

I knew the concern about heart problems from the covid vaccine was overblown but didn't know just how overblown: the worst-case estimate is 38 cases per million vaccines administered I'd expect more than 38 people per million to get hit by cars on the way home from getting vaccinated

it's bullshit that you can't get unemployment if you quit a job you should accrue like a month of unemployment per year of continuous employment, that you can take even if you quit workers would be a lot less willing to tolerate abusive working conditions if they could just quit
