Godot experiment of the day - picross/nonogram system! Takes in a 1-bit image and generates a puzzle from it. Done almost entirely in tilemap layers. Was honestly easier to implement than I expected it to be and really fun to play with :) #GodotEngine #indiedev #picross

For anyone curious about how tiled furniture is set up to work. It's a lot like auto tiling for tile maps. It looks something like this (on the left) where 15 tiles are set up for each possible configuration and 1 default tile. More detail in the comments! #Godot #indiedev #pixelart
