I love Xenoblade, but there are some real groan-worthy attempts at comedy in 1, X and 2, and the Tatsu = food jokes were the nadir. Xenoblade 3 turning out to be genuinely funny when it intended to be was such a pleasant surprise, low-key one of that game's bigger achievements.

While I was pretty confident (and wrong) that Ace Attorney 7 would happen at some point during the Switch's lifespan, getting all 10* games (including the 3 excellent, previously Japan-only ones) + Ghost Trick in that same timeframe is about as sweet a consolation prize as I ever could've hoped for.

I've finally started watching Taskmaster, and the series 4 task involving 3 people and a bathtub is, quite possibly, the hardest I've laughed at anything in several years I wasn't even making laughing sounds after a certain point, I was basically just crying and dry heaving

Every review of AI is like: This isn’t very useful and it makes it harder to do simple tasks than if I just did it myself. Riddled with errors. Can’t see anyone using this. I feel stupider having tried this. That said I believe it will soon make human cognition redundant and eradicate us all.

Unused "Revenge of Lakitu's Cloud" enemy found in the files of the prototype version of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, depicting the cloud riding the Lakitu instead of the usual way around. This enemy did not pass the concept stage and only a single image of it remains.

While I know they've added and tweaked several elements of Dragon Quest III over the years, it's still absolutely wild to me that nearly all of the bones of the adventure are from a 1988 Famicom game. No wonder it became a cultural phenomenon.
