I love this. 2017, Billy Earl Dade Middle School in Dallas planned a “Breakfast with Dads” for boys whose fathers couldn’t attend. They asked for 50 volunteers—nearly 600 men showed up. This Father’s Day, let’s remember: You don’t have to be someone’s dad to be their example.

Before the cops in LA started escalating things for no reason it was funny how my main takeaway was how much people were looking out for each other in really helpful ways. I’ve never seen so many people with carts giving away free water, sunscreen, snacks, and masks to total strangers.

Masked agents in unmarked cars disappearing people from the street and shipping them to a dictator’s prison. Executive branch officials blowing off federal court orders, wrestling members of Congress to the ground and handcuffing them for asking a question. Smells like fascism.
