A few shots of my happy place before reentry to a country I no longer recognize. Too many facepalm moments when meeting people from other countries who don't understand how the US elected a reprehensible, undiplomatic horse's ass. I wish I understood.

Trump claims crime at all time high, which is a lie. Homicides were at 5.66 when Trump took office and 7.22 in 2020 when he lost the election. It was back down to 6.61 by 2023 with early data showing big decrease in 2024. The highest murder states are Republican: MS, LA, AL.
