gonna write them and tell them about DOGE IS FOUR LETTERS

i have a couple of quick updates to share that are elaborated on in the updated post. TLDR: i have received a large volume of responses, my turnaround is going to be a little longer, and i'm going to start publishing next week, rather than march. thanks for all of your stories, and keep them coming.

lol, i am now at ten tomorrow. gonna be a lot of work. also gonna be worth it.

i am finding it extremely satisfying to read all the stories of republican congresscritters trying to bluster through and getting chewed and booed the fuck out

every time i come to roadside attraction (bar in PDX), i think “this is what my house should look like”

this isn’t real, it’s an english folk horror setting

OREGON: “The house & senate are totally abdicating their responsibilities.” @RepBentz (R) is the latest Republican to get confronted by constituents at a town hall. (Tennessee folks— town halls are these things where senators/reps show up and you can talk to them in person)

spotted @niedermeyer.online in the wild in case you wonder whether he is real or just a vengeful ghost sent to hunt down and destroy elon musk

real possibility the state of oregon will not have a single federal republican member of congress by the time the next midterms are settled

not just the government, but this government, specifically

rumble in the distance getting louder every day

you would not joke about elon's botched penile implant if you knew an ill-mannered pug ran off with most of his dick and balls during the procedure. he spends hours every week chasing after it with a big dog catcher's net.

the reason that the american right are leaning *hard* into their immorality - which they themselves understand very clearly to be immoral - is, at the bottom of it, they don’t believe in *anything*.

conditioning disaster aid that californians have paid into simply to force policies on californians who don’t want them is as straightforward an abrogation of the spirit of the union as one can imagine and red states had better be prepared to accept retributions in kind

This is key to understanding the building outrage & backlash that extends way beyond the hurt of those fired. Firing people for no reason is brutal & loathsome but the even larger overall offense is wiping out all the fired people’s jobs with them, all the purposes & needs & value those jobs serve.

btw, i will tell you this - i have been talking to people all day, and the media is missing, whether intentionally or not, how absolutely, volcanically angry the people who have been fired are, not because they lost their jobs, but because their jobs matter, *to us*

none of these people have any concept of duty or decorum or service, all of them are absolute rat bastards who are unqualified to hold any job and should be ejected from any group of respectable americans.

How it started. How it’s going
