So happy to share the newest pre-print from the lab where we show that old age significantly changes the traits that evolve in established lung adenocarcinoma. This work sheds light into the importance of modeling age-related cancers in the context of old age. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

You cannot underestimate all the positive and long-term benefits of having a supportive #mentor One could argue this is at least as important as the research topic 🧪 Do choose wisely.. #MentoringMonth

🔔 We're hiring a Research Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be down to work with mice and human tissues, be available to join us for at least two years, and enjoy being a part of an ambitious research team. Apply here: correialab.com/join-the-team/ Funded by La Caixa Foundation

Happy Holidays from the Gomes Lab 🎄🎅

Check out our News and views on @carman-mc-li.bsky.social cool study about the molecular regulation of Brca1 deficiency mammary oncogenesis - with Steven Lewis www.nature.com/articles/s41...

We had a lot of fun conceptualizing and writing this perspective. If you want to know more about metabolism and cancer dormancy check it out 👇🏻

Mind blowing talk by James DeGregori on viral infection, awakening, and maintenance of metastatic outgrowth. Not good news for those of us that have had multiple Covid-19 infections. #AACRtumorenviron24
