#BrackeysGameJam Day 4 Rebuilt the building. Still needs work. Switched to URP so need to redo the toon shaders. Lots of destructible scenery. Audio, with slow motion audio. Explosion physics. Rubble from explosions. #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameDesign #GameJam

A big problem with #VR doors that require the player to grab a handle is the difference between what is happening in game vs what the player's hand is actually doing. (Green line for the movement of the in-game hand. Red Line for the movement of the real world hand) #GameDev #Unity3D #GameDesign

Wanderer Lift Door Note Push-button twin horizontal sliding door. Requires an object to be placed in a slot *in the correct orientation*. Button lights when pressed and operational. #VR #GameDev #GameDesign

Wanderer Vertical Sliding Door Notes Has momentum but very high friction. Not affected by gravity. Two handles, but only requires one hand to operate. Does not latch. #VR #GameDesign #GameDev

Wanderer Vault Door Similar to Swing Door. Must turn the handwheel into the open position to unlock. Handwheel attached to door itself. Can turn with one hand. Once handwheel is in open position, it can't be turned back again. Audio effects that seem to be speed dependent. #VR #GameDev #GameDesign

Wanderer Swing Door Unreal Engine. Has momentum. Physics interactions with hands. One way. When near the closed angle, the door becomes "sticky" to that angle range. Doesn't fully latch. When released in the closed position, the door moves slightly within the angle range. #GameDev #GameDesign #VR

Red Matter Sliding Door Notes Push button on one side for door to open automatically. One the other side, the scanner function needs to be used on a terminal for the door to open automatically. #VR #GameDesign #GameDev

House Flipper VR Doors Notes Tapping the handle makes the door swing open fully (I think?) Door does not have momentum. Does open both ways. Soft latches in the closed position when approximately that angle. Hand does not visually grab the handle. #VR #GameDev #GameDesign #HouseFillerVR
