@rbreich.bsky.social Forget the nomination side show. It’s vital to create a “safe space” for moderate Republican Senator and Congressmen. If 5-10 each circle their wagons as “independent Republicans” they can hold the full balance of power. If they stand together as a group they can defeat MAGA.

So can anyone really explain why Elon Musk has such a high importance with Trump. It seems obvious that he has had a "special" impact on the Trump election, so much so that he (and no other US Oligarch) is in his inner sanctum. It must be much more than just his work with stacking X for Trump.
