@thatdaringman.bsky.social @capnmalcolm.bsky.social ok after this newest issue it’s final for me. No spoilers obviously but USM is the best Spider-Man book of the last decade and unless things change at editorial over in amazing? This will be the last Spider-Man series I ever read.

I remember when Zeb Well’s Spiderman run was at THAT story arc and someone I listen to said ‘let him cook! His new mutant run was great!’ Which no shade against them, I get giving the guy a chance……but then he basically pissed in a bowl, called it soup, and then left. In short fuck that run.

So there’s a lot of praise towards Ultimate Spider-Man after its first year and rightly so. But I wanted to make a thread about why, as a long time Spidey fan, this book has been hitting me so hard.
