Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01): “The people of Ukraine have shown the world that they will fight until the end to defend their friends, family, homes and country. We must support them…To the people of Ukraine, we are with you today, tomorrow, and always.” (2022)

Matt is a Republican from Idaho disgusted by his fellow Republicans who have abandoned our democratic allies in Ukraine:  "We have spineless Republican representatives in the House and the Senate who think that there is no value to freedom, to democracy, to opposing oppression."

Sen. John Cornyn: “The U.S. and our allies must remain steadfast in our support of the Ukrainian people...by giving the Ukrainian people everything they need in order to prevail.” (2022)

Laura is a Republican who supports aid to Ukraine. "If we allow Russia to take over Ukraine, then China, Iran and North Korea are going to see that America has changed, that we no longer care about illegal invasions and that will give them the go ahead to do whatever they want."

Former VP Mike Pence: “Vladimir Putin doesn’t want peace; he wants Ukraine. And the fact that we are now nearly two months of following a ceasefire agreement that Ukraine has agreed to and Russia continues to delay and give excuses confirms that point.”

Sen. Tommy Tuberville: “We've seen Ukrainians embody determination in the face of desperation, all in the name of freedom and love of their country...It is clear Mr. Putin underestimated the Ukrainians' will to fight.” (2022)

Jordan is a lifelong Republican. He supports aid to Ukraine because it's in the American tradition of fighting for freedom. "One of the main principles that makes us solidly American is that we're defenders of freedom...It's something every single American should value."

Rep. Tom Kean (NJ-07): “There can only be a truly durable peace after Ukraine’s victory and after the defeat of Russia’s invading forces.” (2023)

Ruth is a lifelong Republican from Pennsylvania who supports aid to Ukraine: "Because I've been in the Republican Party for so many years...I see this very clearly in the context of our long running conflict with not only Russia, but all the forces it represents."

Sen. Tom Cotton: “What we need from the president is to get out of this mindset of trying to end the war. Instead, we need to help Ukraine win the war. And they're only gonna win if we continue to supply them with the weapons that they're asking for.” (2022)

Zach is a Republican from North Carolina who supports aid to Ukraine because  "it's the right thing to do." "It is the best for American interest internationally, and it continues the values that we as a nation have towards upholding freedom both at home and abroad."

Sen. John Cornyn: "When people are trying to defend their very lives and their national sovereignty against a megalomanic dictator like Vladimir Putin, we should...provide them everything they need in order to defend themselves and their country and defeat Vladimir Putin.” (2022)

Jim-Bob, a lifelong Republican since 1976, has a clear message for President Trump: "You need to support Ukraine. You need to support democracy. You need to support freedom. Supporting Russia does not support freedom."

Sen. Joni Ernst: “ Americans want us to do more to bring down Vladimir Putin, stand for Ukraine, and end this conflict…We are the greatest nation on the face of the planet. We stand for freedom...The American people know it, and they're looking for us to act.” (2022)

Chris is a Republican who thinks Trump's handling of Ukraine has been "abysmal." "After that visit with Zelensky and Vance in the Oval Office, I harken back to the days of Eisenhower, someone like him, rolling in his grave."

Nancy is a Republican who knows that if the U.S. fails to defend Ukraine, the rest of the world will be less safe: "When I think about the consequences of Russia taking over Ukraine...I see President Xi Jinping watching carefully what America will or will not do."

Deb is a lifelong Republican from North Carolina who knows the importance of standing strong with our democratic allies in Ukraine against Russia's terror. "We shouldn't turn our backs and let democracies fall to authoritarian governments."

Republicans in Congress used to understand our moral responsibility as the leader of the free world to ensure Ukraine is victorious in their fight to defend their freedom. What changed?

These Republicans know the importance of standing with our allies. They're calling on Trump and the GOP to do the same.
