Giving the latest Nosferatu a try. It seems to suffer from the same lack of pace as most of Robert Eggers stuff. It feels almost as long as the lifespan of the beast itself.

I read a lot on an audio blog that looks at the science of audio replay. I have learnt a lot. Mostly that the hifi industry is full of charlatans & snake oil merchants. It is also a mirror to so much of modern life. People arguing against science, thinking their experience outweighs it. 1/2

Well, the -plan- for today was to hike around Manzanita Lake at Lassen National Park. Trail talk from a couple days ago was "about an inch of snow on the Trail." I figured I've got good boots and a hickory stick. I'll be fine.
