Path of Exile 2. I'm digging this game completely. Got over 365 hours into it so far, and it's fun. I love that it's going to continue to evolve over the year, into something even more entertaining. But my biggest gripe. No DAMN... AUCTION HOUSE. You have to use an external website linked...

I have played every edition of Dungeons & Dragons. I've watched it evolve over the decades as new concepts were born and adopted. I've also played many other games throughout the same time. I always returned to D&D. But this D&D 2024 5E, does not do enough to make me care or need to update to it.

#Landman Watching this show, I've been impressed by the stories and characters. But my observation for the character of Tommy. Played by Billy Bob Thornton. Great actor playing a nuanced bullshit artist. Seriously, his little monologues are demonstrably wrong. Consistently, and repeatedly.

I'm just rewatching #Landman on Paramount+ and just came across this little nugget of his wisdom. That in Japan, China, and Italy, they smoke and drink and in Italy screw all day. And Lung Cancer isn't even in the top 10 of leading causes of death. Well that's Horseshit. WHO shows otherwise.

You know, gotta admit it. Some days, looking at the explosive dung show that is our current state of affairs as a nation is truly just demoralizing. Which is of course the intent by the architects of such monstrosities. But there are bright lights out there. AOC is 100% one. JWST photos another.

Everything Herr Commander Big Mac is doing is at the behest of Putin / Russia. Where are the safeguards to stop this treasonous activity? Engaging in trade wars with allies, only benefits.. RUSSIA. How come the FBI isn't arresting him for his activities. He openly admitted he talked with Putin.

Minor complaint. I truly dislike the artificial limitation of characters in this social media methodology of communications. I find it often requires me to consistently rewrite my messages because the words I tend to use, are large and appropriate for the messages. TLDR Vocabulary Reductionism.

Not gonna lie. I have to admit I really do like #TheLandman show and 10 episodes for a season just does not feel enough. It feels like there should be at least another 10 episodes for a solid season. But we get what we get in this Era of shows with limited episodes a season. Meh.

Can I just give out some serious props to the #Demiplane Nexus crews. My first experience with this site was with the Critical Role RPG, Open Beta #Daggerheart nexus. Holy crap it was easy to use and highly functional. As a 40+ year TTRPG DM/Player. I have been so highly impressed.

I just started watching #Gladiator2 and saw the actor playing Arishat (Female Archer). Who looked super familiar, and I thought she was the actor from Mr. Inbetween who played Ally. Well it turns out Arishat is Yuval Gonen. & Ally is Brooke Satchwell. They look like they could be sisters.

What happens in China never just stays in China. There is a surge in influenza A in the U.S. as well this winter. We rarely test whether the virus is conventional flu, or H1N1 swine flu, H5N1 bird flu. But the crowded ERs seen in many places are indications something is afoot. 🧵
