Today I toured Woodbury Junior-Senior High School to hear directly from students and faculty about their phone-free policy. Cell phone-free school days have transformed the student community, fostering a more welcoming and productive learning environment.

I want to thank President Trump and Secretary Duffy for their efforts to halt the current congestion pricing program. While I have consistently expressed openness to a form of congestion pricing, the current program lines the MTA’s pockets at the expense of New Jerseyans.

Earlier today, I stopped by the Statewide Traffic Management Center in Woodbridge, where emergency management teams are closely monitoring roadways following Sunday’s snowstorm. Please drive with caution, as roads may be slippery.

⚠️ I have declared a State of Emergency beginning Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. 🌨️ We are expecting a winter storm bringing heavy snow, followed by dangerously low temperatures from Monday through Wednesday.

Following this weekend’s snow, we are expecting extreme cold with wind chills reaching -10° or below. Dangerously cold conditions are expected to persist through most of next week. Please limit your time outdoors and keep your pets inside as much as possible.

Three years ago today, I was sworn in for my second term. In our final year, we aren’t slowing down. We are going to show the world what it means to be the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
