Update: Drove a 2022 Hybrid (with the HF45 transmission) and it's noticeably less smooth to drive, partially my inexpeience with regen cars, but I think overall too twitchy for me compared to the 2.0 turbo non-hybrid Need to sleep on this info...

Seriously looking at a Ford Maverick and test drove a '22 Ecoboost just now, feels good. Now to drive a hybrid. Highlight of the afternoon being the salesman (in his 2nd week on the job fair enough) touting the existence of an "anti roll bar" as a feature to sell me on it 😅

It's amazing how much more comfortable you can be around people when you trust them enough to not hide things about yourself from them. Maybe I'm late to the game with this one, but better late than never. Right now this is only a few people, but as that few slowly becomes more, I get happier.
