I’m someone who remembers when America was looked up to. I’m not afraid to look our mistakes in the eye; like the poet said ‘when you know better you must do better’.

Getting Started

What do you Dwight Eisenhower would think of today’s UN vote? America where is our righteous indignation? Siding with dictators is wrong on every level.

Stand up for Ukraine. Their success matters. Their failure is our failure. Can’t you see World War 3 on the horizon? Do you really want Putin as our overlord? If we don’t learn from history we will relive it.

There is power in the people. It took almost 2 decades to move the needle away from racist American policy. We can do it again.

So fascinating. This ridiculous statement just means the pressure is working. Keep it up!

In 2020 it was Black women who saved America from trump. Stand up America! Stop being cowards. DEI programs barely begin to address 300 years of white supremacy. I am ashamed of my country and my race.

I saw Selena Gomez’ post on X expressing her terrible sadness about trumps deportations. She didn’t know what to do. Ask the National Immigration Law Center what they need and how to help. Don’t let fear erase your voice.

Thanks to Sen Lisa Murkowski(R Ak) for standing firm against Hegseth for Secretary of Defense. A rare Republican who puts her constituents and country ahead of party.

Is there really any reason to pay attention to that man? We know he will do outrageous disgusting things. He surrounds himself with people as Cruel and ignorant as he is. The surprise would be if they all managed to do something that benefited human kind.

Don’t mistake my quietness as acceptance of a new ‘normal’. My despair is abating; I listen. I seek ways to resist. I am patient. American democracy is not done yet.
