In 2022 the Brewers had Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, Devin Williams and Josh Hader and the team ERA was 3.83. In 2024 they didn't have any of those guys except Devin for 21.2 innings and the team ERA was 3.65. That's kinda neat.

There had been 7 rookie pitchers to receive ZERO votes for ROY while starting at least 25 games and producing an ERA of 3 or less. First was future HOFer Don Sutton in 1966. The most recent was future CY winner Ron Guidry in 1977. This year, the club got its 8th member with the Brewers Tobias Myers.

Watson might have the best hands on the team, his drops just hurt more because they're all wide open deep shots. He's got that James Jones factor where the more open he is the more likely he is to drop it.

Oddly enough, that 1980 game ended in a tie and the 2018 game ended with a game winning field goal by Mason Crosby as time expired as the Packers scored 10 points in the final 1:55. You'd think they'd have won both games handily.

The last time a Packer tight end had more than 100 yards in a game was somehow Jimmy Graham against the 49ers in 2018. It was the most yards Graham had in a game as a Packer. They had three guys with more than 100 yards in that game (Graham, Adams, MVS), which tied a team record set in 1980.
