Bluesky people! Super Bowl opening night is about to begin. However loud and jam-packed you think it must be, it isn’t quite enough. Fun night ahead.

Another promising season ended with a close playoff loss to the Chiefs. Where do the Bills and Josh Allen go from here, trying to end a cruel cycle that keeps repeating? www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/...

Liam Coen had agreed to a nice bump to stay in Tampa as offensive coordinator, then changed course, going to Jacksonville and accepting a deal to become their new head coach. More on a stunning reversal, for @nflonfox.bsky.social: www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/...

HR 2 - WHO IS JOHN SPYTEK? @gregauman.bsky.social tells us all about Raiders newly hired GM, John Spytek, and what he brings to the table, @ryanscotthoag is back with thoughts on the #Raiders new GM and their ongoing HC search.

Any reaction here to news that Liam Coen is staying with the Bucs as OC and taking his name out of the running for the Jaguars' head coach opening?

Up to 14 confirmed Bucs futures signings: DL Mike Greene OL Lorenz Metz WR Marquez Callaway WR Tanner Knue S Marcus Banks TE Tanner Taula S Rashad Wisdom OL Luke Haggard LB Daniel Grzesiak LB Antonio Grier RB D.J. Williams OL Garret Greenfield OL Raiqwon O'Neal LB Deion Jennings (pending physical)

All the Bucs' questionable players are active tonight -- Winfield, Dean, Otton, Edwards all back active and healthy vs. Commanders. Bucs' inactives vs. Commanders: DL C.J. Brewer, TE Devin Culp, WR Kam Johnson, WR Tanner Knue, S Ryan Neal, G Royce Newman, OLB Jose Ramirez.

Last practice for Bucs ahead of Commanders on Sunday. Otton and Dean continue to practice. Winfield has been a full participant last two days. Logan Hall and Mike Edwards came out late. Not sure on Will Gholston.

Not quite ready to start naming potential matches for Bucs. Feels like a defense-heavy draft for Tampa Bay at the top. Linebacker, edge, corner all make sense. Could get younger on the interior as well. Any cuts could create new needs too.

Diaby hasn't had that many sacks, and that's always the easiest measure of success for an edge rusher, but his pressures and win rate are much better than his sacks would suggest. He said a key to his recent surge is focusing less on sacks and more on winning each snap and creating pressure.

Dean was with the team for warmups, appeared to be doing everything he normally would as he works back from a knee injury.

I go back to ELO: "Mr. Blue Sky, please tell us why you had to hide away for so long." I really will try to be on here more often. Don't want to just copy what I'm tweeting to here, so ask me questions here, I'll do my best to answer them here. Thanks to all for following!

Bucs back at practice on a chilly morning. Jamel Dean and Cade Otton both practicing. Tykee Smith back after missing Wednesday for a personal matter. Logan Hall and Antoine Winfield came out late. Didn’t see Mike Edwards.

Bucs practicing outside today. Lots to cover: - Bucky Irving, Christian Izien, Sterling Shepard not practicing - expecting Winfield, Britt, Edwards to be out again - did see Bredeson, JTS, J.J. Russell, Josh Hayes working - no Evans or Wirfs, but that’s normal for them lately

My first Bluesky spammer! Had to happen eventually. Sigh.

All the key people practicing for Bucs today - Tristan Wirfs, Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, Tykee Smith, Baker Mayfield all going. Trey Palmer is also working. Still no K.J. Britt or Mike Edwards, so they should be ruled out.

For the fourth time in six years, Mike Evans is the Bucs' nominee for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year award. Mike and Ashli do a ton for the community through their foundation, and he's deserving of not only this but the league-wide honor as well.

Bucs have a rookie punter on their practice squad in Jack Browning. They could sign another punter this week, but for now, looks like the job is his.

Bucs have waived punter Trenton Gill, who had the lowest punting average in the NFL after taking over for Jake Camarda during this season.

Tristan Wirfs is active for the Bucs today against Panthers. Returns from his knee injury missing only one game.

Bucs have ruled out OLB Joe Tryon-Shoyinka for Sunday’s game at Carolina. Rookie Michael Pratt has been elevated from practice squad as a third QB.

Bucs have placed safety Jordan Whitehead on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least four of the team's six remaining regular-season games. Linebacker Vi Jones has been signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Bucs have ruled out nickel Tykee Smith and safety Jordan Whitehead for Sunday‘s game at Carolina. Tristan Wirfs will be a game-time decision.

Bucs at practice this morning -- no Tykee Smith, so looks like another week with Christian Izien at nickel. Tristan Wirfs working with a brace on his knee, so could be back. Joe Tryon-Shoyinka practicing as well.

Happy Thanksgiving!
