I cherish our Constitution and Bill of Rights. I want a country that has achieved social justice and equality. I want a democracy that serves all the citizenry, not exclusively the rich. I want an end to money in politics. I seek a more perfect union.

Please remember, especially the few MAGA diehards that might be here at Bluesky, that Russia is and has been our ENEMY since the end of WWII. Except for the short flirtation when Russia relaxed and at least thought about joining with democracies when Gorbachev instituted glasnost and perestroika.

Internment camps in El Salvador are the same thing as nazi concentration camps were in Germany and countries outside of Germany. Same thing, different names. The final solution for the Nazis was extermination. Trump hasn't brought that up so we don't know if he wants it. But that was the nazi move.

This conservative Supreme Court is not defending the 5th amendment right to due process. It is not insistently defending this vital component of our law. The SC's job is to relentlessly defend the Constitution, not to capitulate and allow parts of it to be carved away and rejected.
