It can be limited to an internal prototype used to communicate an idea. Through shared understanding it will be transformed. regardless all these need to be turned into engineered prototypes or PoCs anyway.

Very good point. I'd say: stick with agile principles it's all a rehash anyway, find one framework that works, prioritize shared understanding as much as possible, don't go deep in tech, leave it to the engineers and know your product better than anyone else.

There is plenty of theory and study in PM, btw reinventing agile wheels, frameworks, shared understanding of market, industry, tech and product itself.

Problem of shared responsibilities is lack of accountability. Unless pm role is owned by an individual or a team there can be no accountability.
