My dog insisted "out!" at three in the stupid morning. Instead of going on the lawn, she ran into the woods behind my house for ten minutes, then returned to have zoomies on the couch for another five. Then she slept in till noon.

Okay, that took foreverrrrr to test negative for covid, but this morning I did. I am bummed I got it and grateful I hadn't caught it up till now and crossing my fingers I can avoid it for another four years at least. Freedom! ...except now my dog has kennel cough, augh!
