Goddam @maddow.msnbc.com, way to go! Thank you so much for using your position to stand up for your off-air colleagues. A lot of us in tech have been treated the same way and it feels good to have someone reproach it. Thanks too for trying to get through to Leader Jeffries. Too bad he’s clueless.

@maddow.msnbc.com Hi Rachel and your wonderful team. Wanted to bring this thread to your attention if you're not already aware.

Should have done this a long time ago, but I deleted my Twitter and Facebook accounts finally. I hadn't signed into FB for years, nor Twitter for months now. Still hard to let go. "Hey, look at all those people I forgot I once knew!"

My 84-year old father said today, "This is the first day of the most interesting year of our lives."

“There are very few people who have done more for cake than Marie Antoinette.”

Watching Sound of Music with my parents. Trying not to say *every* line out loud ahead of time. The von Trapps had much better architecture to flee from the Fascists amidst.

If you see this post, can you please help spread this information? #ASafeChoice is a referral network of physicians who provide medication abortion services ACROSS THE US. People everywhere need to know about this option. These doctors have capacity to help more women! Let’s spread word! ❤️✊

Wow! Thank you for the follows everyone! I'm mostly a lurker when it comes to social media, but I'll try to occasionally say something a bit clever, or at least heartfelt. A pic or two of Eli maybe. I learned so much from y'all back before the other place went bad, and I'm excited for that again!

I do not think in terms of what was or what is or what will be There has only ever been me A shapeless thing kept in a form that does not fit, seeking one that does Suffering in that search This moment is not change It is the pieces settling into place I am becoming

There are few denialist political ideas more repugnant to me than notion that we overreacted to Trump term 1, “sure, it was bad, but not, like, apocalyptic…” A million Americans dead of Covid. Climate windows nailed shut permanently. These fucking opportunistic ghouls will forever hide the dead.

How can there only be ~6k signatures? Let's step it up folks. They're coming for all of us.

The Republican Party serves the interests of the billionaires. The Democratic Party serves the interests of the millionaires. We need a party for the rest of us.

Sir Thomas Brown in Religio Medici says "I tried if I could reach that great resolution, to be honest without a thought of Heaven or Hell." I was 16 when I read that (Dorothy Sayers, Gaudy Night) and was like, what's the big deal? You're honest because you're honest. Who cares about heaven or hell?

This made me so happy when I first saw it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjVD...

Tonight I introduced my dad to The Wellerman and I was reminded of those amazing early days of COVID when there was such an outpouring of generosity and people sharing themselves. Yo-Yo Ma played his cello for us. Patrick Stewart read us Shakespeare sonnets. We can be those people again.

Sir Pterry sees humanity very clearly, and loves us anyway.

It really is something to discover that if we had a Tiananmen Square demonstration today, and the tank ran over the protester, tens of millions of my fellow citizens would say he deserved it.

Mom: Where's our dad gone? Me: Well, he's my dad and your husband. He's gone to the store for groceries. Mom: Was I in the car with him when he left?

Some troll once told @blairbraverman.bsky.social "Go back to your ugly dogs, Karen." #UglyDogs is a warm, wonderful community of folks who love dogs, mushing, kindness. Blair's tracker went down on the Iditarod and in our panic, we funded school trips for all the Native communities along the route.

@yardcrow.com Can I please get the #UglyDogs label? Thank you so much for doing this!

This is my boy Eli.

Weird to go back through all my Twitter follows, to the days when it was me fangirling around actors and TV writers and theater companies. I'd forgotten what it used to be like before it was all politics all the time. I miss those days.

Trying to get set up over here. Hard to let go of some of the more obscure folks from Twitter, hope to find them again some day.
