What a few days for #LFC. From the prospect of Arsenal closing the gap to 5 points and the ensuing nerves, to finding ourselves 13(!!) points clear. The mood at Anfield was celebratory there tonight, and understandably so; They just watched the soon to be 20 times champions of England.

When those same people attempt to play down what Slot's #LFC achieve this season, let us all remember what they said back in August.

One of the greatest to have played the game, and in that context, staggeringly, still largely underrated beyond #LFC, IMO.

Arne Slot is only the second ever Liverpool manager to complete the league double over the reigning English champions in his first season in charge of the club. The other was Bob Paisley v Leeds in 1974-75. #LFC

The #LFC players out there today, and currently celebrating with our end, look as determined and focused as I've ever seen them. "Now you're gonna believe us", sang the end as one. It feels like a pivotal weekend.

"It's really tough to watch this version of Manchester City", says Optus Sport commentator. It really fucking isn't, mate. Relegate them next, please πŸ‘πŸ»

What a performance. What a weekend. 11 to go. Up the Reds. #LFC

That Jones disallowed goal (and others like it), whilst technically a correct call, really needs to trigger a long conversation about what the current process is actually adding to the game. When you're talking about armpits and toenails, what advantage is really being gained? #LFC

That's a virtually impeccable first half from #LFC. Supremely focused and clinical in both boxes, which is where we'd fallen short in recent weeks. The routine from the corner for the first goal was the highlight, for me. Great to see that having clearly been worked on.

If Liverpool play at a ~70 point pace for the last 12 games, they'll end the season on 83 points. For Arsenal to get to 84 points, they'd need to play at a ~98 point pace.

Today’s results mean Man United have been the worst team in the Premier League (promoted teams aside) in the Ruben Amorim era.

Side note, but Kudus was superb for West Ham there today. Lovely footballer. The strength and low centre of gravity remind me a lot of ManΓ© at his best. I'd absolutely take him at #LFC

What a result that is for #LFC. Gotta be honest, I really didn't see them slipping up there. Now, it would be lovely if we could finally take one of these chances to kill the Arsenal hope. Pressure off a little bit tomorrow, but it becomes a *huge* opportunity.

The only thing that really worries me here is that Liverpool look sloppy, and have done for the last three games now. Inability to control games at times, panic football and missing far too many chances. Only thing that stops us winning the league will be ourselves.

Slot on Nunez. Pretty damning comments from the manager. I take no pleasure in saying it, not least because I had sky high hopes for him, but at this stage I'd be very surprised if Nunez is a #LFC player at the start of next season.

Long time since I've been as nervous ahead of a #FC game as I am here. Could really do with the kind of performance (and result) that settles nerves.
