At the in-laws, saw some planes. (Red Arrows from the flypast) They go almost overhead, phone camera makes them look further away.

Good morning. Here's David Bowies's song Fame sung by Donny Osmond.

The contents are much better than the terrible sleeve on that Kay Starr LP, e.g. youtu.be/td3v9-97HqE?...

Some mostly female jazz vocal LP finds from the past few months (All for £1 👍) Firstly the old stuff - the Kay Starr is great ( @bostock.bsky.social - did you post this a while back?). Thought I already had Olé ala Lee but maybe I got rid of a crackly copy

AI is a trash source.

Good morning ☕️ #whatafuckingtune youtu.be/CihkwKj37zw?...

This was great - And Oswald Von Wolkenstein's life is unexpectedly exciting en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oswald_...

Unintentionally colour coordinated buys from a pre-work diversion via Spitalfields fair. Bottom left is reggae + Moog. Bottom right is a sealed Brownswood comp of modern South African jazz

Today's ridiculous several minute wait for a lift soundtracked by Groove Theory "Tell Me", with that great Mary Jane Girls/Keni Burke bass. I assume it's the little café putting on Spotify or something youtu.be/THtqUDitQ4I?...

#NowPlaying another recent find, traded some stuff at MVE for a few things including this US pressing of Sallyangie

#NowPlaying another recent purchase, The Chantells LP on Phase 1

#NowPlaying a (proper record shop) purchase from last week, on the delightfully named Happy Bird label from Ghana 🇬🇭 (confusingly other pressings of this LP have the sleeve design in blue, this red/pink version is normally a different LP)

No idea if it appears in an episode or anything but the B-side of the Supercar Theme 45 is a groovy bit of exotica from Charles Blackwell youtu.be/BJrugTuOHCU?...

#NowPlaying Another £1 find from the other day, 1970 copy, although has the old 60s style red dot labels. Don't think I've heard anything of theirs besides Surrealistic Pillow. Has that extreme panning going on (possibly would sound better in mono? Not really familiar with this sort of thing)
