Every year I take my stones out on the Solstice and leave them to sunbathe. I take the bits and flakes that break off over the year and give it as an offering. The crows have designated themselves as the acceptors of the offering. They keep checking the spot I leave them like they know it's coming.

I was not raised in an Abrahamic faith. My reverence for the "Big 3" is only that of a theologian. You can't say I love one of them more than another or that I hate one over another. To me, they're like a book series spread across different perspectives. Like LOTR, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion.

My granddaughter just got her very own coffee cup, a little mini mason jar. She loves that she can see through it and that it's "tiny, just like me". She says she wants to stay tiny forever so she doesn't outgrow her cup. This kid is hilarious
