After cycling over to meet friends at Tunnel Top Park we looked around at the sparse freeway adjacent space and realized we were meant to be at _Presidio_Tunnel Top_s Park. No matter, when cycling the additional five miles by bike was mostly a pleasure along the San Francisco waterfront.

Never forget that when Seoul, Korea removed the Cheonggyecheon expressway in 2003 and replaced it with a restored stream, 1000 acre park and improved public transit, not only did it TRANSFORM the city’s public life and economic success, but the car traffic got better. The car traffic got BETTER.

Cities manage to give up so much space to cars. Maybe we should get all of the parked vehicles to move to the middle of the street so that snow on sidewalks/bike lanes can be properly removed. Trekking out today, the majority of people were not travelling by car. Prioritize Mobility beyond Cars.
