Love the way this super cute #cuskeel curls its tail around its body. While observing it, it often switches from tail-left to tail-right, but pretty much never uncurls unless it goes for a short burst of speed, then resumes the curled pose. TL ~1cm #ophidiidae #blackwater

Shrimps in the nighttime open ocean are almost always found clinging to something gelatinous - in this case, a ctenophore (comb jelly), or at least, most of a ctenophore. But we still don’t have the answer to the question of, is the shrimp feeding on the ctenophore?
