My friends and I had an awful night of playing Lethal Company, but at least it was funny. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXdY...

Font choice matters.

Slowly losing my mind everytime my coworker tries to inform me of something I told her 2 weeks ago. "Did you know xyz?" Yeah, Karen, I told you that info less than a month ago.

Less positive and happy than my last post: I'M GONNA [avoiding a federal watch list] BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID FUCKING MACHINE. Like, holy shit, why can't my workplace just make sure their cashiers can count cash instead of forcing us to use this fussy machine that randomly decides to not work?

Been recording clips and posting to youtube recently, both because of wanting to share funny lethal company stuff from playing with friends so frequently, and also because of having a vtuber model in the works. Along that line, I'm happy and anxious to say I'll stream again sometime soon.

So glad I do my taxes asap. Got my refund back before the IRS got gutted and slowed down by lack of funding. Like, I'm trying to not pay attention to things falling apart, but given things are falling apart, I was kinda worried tax refunds would end up being considered "inefficient".

It'd be really funny if most of America ended up becoming vegan because none of the meat or dairy can be trusted as safe and eggs are too expensive.

Losing my mind having to deal with people at work so many days of the week lately. Used to work 3 days/wk, now it's 5 (I know, that's just "the norm" for most). Also have to deal with coworkers who are brainless incompetents more often. I'm not built for this.

I feel like "just wanting more views" is seen as being disingenuous for anyone trying to be a "content creator" (a real one, not just a social media poster)...but like, even at small numbers, line going up makes my brain's reward centers happy and trying to keep it that way motivates me.

Old people need hobbies. Sick of seeing the same lamebrains who complain about taxes or grocery prices spending their rainy Sundays chain scratching $20 lotto tickets. Like, $60 could get you either a modern video game or three pieces of thick paper calling you a loser. Easy choice to make imo.

Normie small talk is so mind-numbing. "Winter's here..." just because it's snowing a bit. Like, yeah, it's February 12th. It's been winter for 2 months. What am I even supposed to say to that besides "Yep"?

Are upstairs neighbors always the least considerate and noisiest people imaginable? Is that something landlords try to vet them for? Was me being quiet part of why I was placed in a ground level apartment?

One of these days I'm gonna get written up at work for telling my coworkers to stfu about their personal lives. Like, I work in a single person kiosk. I CHOSE to work in a single person kiosk. Why do they think I want to hear about their new phone number or what they're planning for dinner?

Been playing a lot of Lethal Company lately, decided to start recording it and post clips on Youtube. Eventually maybe I'll stream my solo runs or something, but for now there's stuff like this I can share: youtu.be/97FiUWQlGCU

It'd be great if Bsky understood that their own UI gets in the way of reading and seeing images posted. Like, the arrow buttons block entire words and I feel like someone in development should've noticed that.

Apparently my shithole workplace no longer wants to carry its own storebrand bottled water because "the bottles look too cheap on the shelves". It's 99 cent bottled water. It SHOULD be cheap. We need more Mario Bros in this country.

I wish I wasn't such a fast reader. There's only so many manga that remotely interest me and I've read them all and now I'm stuck in "waiting for new chapter" hell without anything to read while at work.

Too many people make me wonder how they made it to their age in the winter. Below freezing temps here and people in light clothing are complaining about the cold. Like, you're in New England in January. It's not even below zero, wear a jacket and gloves, idiot.

My company's "active assailant training" is so bleak, man. Legit tells you the cops probably won't make it in time so get ready to fight back by putting canned peas in a sock and going medieval on their ass.

Been feeling bad about spending a bunch more money than normal recently, then a customer just came up and got $100 of $10 scratch tickets and it really puts my spending in perspective.

@lobosjr.org Not sure if anyone's told you, or you've seen it yet, but Eternal Ring history is being made. Even more new routing has happened, highly recommend watching the run.

I severely underestimated the power of putting the C-word in a post. At least a few people responded to it accordingly with what I was saying instead of just being termsearchers trying to offer their services.

Personal dilemma: I want to commission a vtuber model and will finally have the funds to do so (soonTM), BUT I'm not good at social media or being consistent with streaming and Idk, it'd feel disrespectful to commission someone's work then disappear after a couple months, like I usually do.

My coworker's officially an npc. Talking about management making dumb decisions when I go to make a comparison. "Yeah, it's just like-" "Yeah, yeah, totally" "I didn't say what it was like" "Yep, yeah, mhm" "..." "I totally agree with you" Like, zero listening was done. Not a real person to me.

I hope everyone who receives lotto tickets for Christmas loses and tells the gift giver to go fuck themself. Literally just give people cash. Scratch tickets are a 3/4 chance to be gifting someone a piece of paper calling them a loser; that shit's disrespectful.

Learned last night that I'm gonna be inheriting a sum of money I was not expecting from a relative that passed away a little over a year ago and now I'm freaking out trying to think of what I'm doing with it (aside from putting a % away for savings). Not used to this sort of thing at all.

I feel like I'll never fully understand overly apologetic customers. Some people will ask for $20 of gas in cash, pump $14, then come back for change and be like "Oh, sorry, I thought it would take all $20". Wtf are you sorry for? Making $6 change is easy and part of why I'm paid. Makes no sense.

So, "show less like this" just does nothing, right? Cuz like, I've pressed that button on a ton of discover feed posts of topless dudes in underwear and they keep showing up in my feed.

I swear, people posting those "protip: answer your phone saying 'you're on the air'" and "rebellious/threatening embroidery" posts I keep seeing on here just make me feel like this place is full of people who just give off this vibe.
