Remember when trump completely fucked up COVID response which then weaponised useful idiots to hinder any effective response thus turning COVID endemic. We may be dealing with a potentially hazardous asteroid while he may be president and at this point I'm going to find the nearest beach.

Final bleet before I have my bedtime cereal. I really enjoyed dystopian sci-fi movies as a kid. Escape from NY, Fortress, Nemesis, Verhoven Verse etc. The idea of a society in collapse was generally a fun bit of escapism from the world. It's not supposed to be aspirational. Suggestions welcome.
