Mbape is a cheat. Disappointing.

Excellent!

Like, I guess, most people my age, I don’t understand the trans debate and have no view on it beyond “be nice to people”. Does this make me bad? Possibly. But I’ve been banging on about Sudan for years and if you know nothing about that, imo, more important issue, then you’re a “bad person”too.

Five years ago, the Eye made the case for the government to take back control of British Steel, by renationalising it. Instead, ministers handed it over to Chinese ownership. Now, five years later, it's being taken back under emergency powers.

"People are trying to be resilient, but there is very little aid arriving." Filmmaker Sara Creta, who has spent the last two years covering the conflict in Sudan, speaks to Jackie Long about the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Read and watch: www.channel4.com/news/sudan-a...

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

“I am Spartacus”.

Ha!

Sudan is suffering from the largest humanitarian crisis globally and its civilians are continuing to pay the price for inaction by the international community, as the war enters its third year. “The sheer numbers are just mind-boggling.”

They probably will find Liz Truss during Trump's colonoscopy appointment.

Breaking news: The European Commission is issuing burner phones and basic laptops to some US-bound staff to avoid the risk of espionage — a measure traditionally reserved for trips to China www.ft.com/content/20d0...

It’s clear we can’t control a madman in the White House.

Friend: “I think there’s going to be an awful lot of re-evaluation of post war American history”

United have 2 shit keepers then. 😂

More in No, Other People: New poll: “America would be better off if more people worked in manufacturing.” • 80% of Americans agree • 20% disagree “I would be better off if I worked in a factory.” • 25% of Americans agree • 73% disagree • 2% currently work in a factory

Art of the Deal!

Someone tried to burn the Pennsylvania governor and his family to death in their beds. Make no mistake. This is where we are.

I had a joke about Cassandra but no one would listen

Two great statistics from today. Newcastle will do the double over Man United for the first time in 91 years. Spurs are 15th in the league after a “feeble” display against Wolves. 15th at the end of the season will be their worst performance for 50 years. 😂😂😂😂

My report on today's devastating Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy. At least 21 dead and 83 injured, including seven kids. Bodies on the streets, burning cars, a trolley bus destroyed, rescuers carrying survivors, a child covered in blood.. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/a...

Sounds about right…

Wera just wanted to visit her son in Hong Kong and meet her baby grandson for the first time. But after a 13-hour flight, the Chinese authorities turned her away – just because she’s a British MP. So heartless. And totally unacceptable.
