My Dad was able to buy a house, have two kids, pay the bills, we were middle class on one salary. We had same day GP, ambulances within mins, dentists, good education, good public transport, clean beaches and rivers. Now even two salaries would struggle. And thanks to Tories the UKs gone to SHIT.

“A huge 68% of respondents in Britain see a benefit in reintroducing cross-Channel freedom of movement in exchange for access to the European single market” www.bbc.com/news/article...

Are you fucking ok on the right? You’re going mad because high skill workers like Drs are leaving but you had the AUDACITY to call them greedy. They went to Uni for YEARS only to be paid £14ph. They even pay their own parking but I’m sure MPs are covered for that… right?

The right are upset about millionaire farmers having to pay tax. They’re upset about wealthy parents paying VAT on private education. They’re upset about pensioners losing their winter fuel allowance. Yet don’t care about millions of families living in poverty this Christmas.

Why’s the argument always farmers are crucial because they feed our country… and not NHS staff are crucial for our country’s health, not teachers are crucial for our kids education, not social care are crucial for our elderly? There’s more than farmers holding us together you know.

Oh god. The inevitable Daily Mail tantrum at a Labour govt edging towards a slightly less ruinous relationship with our own continent. What do these idiotic nationalists want? Permanent hostility? Endless cost and loss? ‘Betraying’ Brexit is an act of patriotic necessity now, you howling clowns.

If you’re so patriotic you care about wealthy farmers being taxed, I want you to have that same energy about the millions of families living in poverty… yet you don’t. That’s not patriarchy, that’s classism, you’ve been gaslit into not wanting to help your own.

This is for all the anti-vax bros.

I’ll never understand these billionaires who just wanna get richer. Like you couldn’t spend all that money in a thousand lifetimes, let alone one. Why not help those less fortunate, why not be known for doing some good? Instead you’re literally just known for being uber rich.

Yeah I’ll never understand the rights hatred of people who just want to better their lives. As they do… I don’t get you people.

Can anyone tell me why everyone else should pay 40% inheritance tax over 6 months and wealthy farmers pay 20% over 10 years, tell me how’s that fair?

The West should never recover from this

The right get upset over parents having to pay VAT on private education. Don’t care about parents who struggle to pay for uniforms or school dinners. The right get upset over a tax for farms worth £Ms. Don’t care about our nurses using food banks. They fight for the rich not YOU.

So nurses go on strike for a fair wage, a safer NHS and the right lose their minds. We have nurses using food banks… the right don’t care. But when a farmer with land worth £Ms has an extra tax… the right need to protest. Ok got it.

It’s insane this still needs said

You know it’s wild how the right say Farmers are fighting for the country’s food. Just not for kids in poverty getting free school meals, or kids getting a piece of toast for breakfast in the morning. NOPE not for them. You see the problem? Get me?

This. Why’s it always on the person struggling to go without instead of the people who hoard all the wealth?

It’s WILD how farmers can threaten to withhold food and that’s absolutely fine. But when NHS workers are striking for fair pay and a safer NHS, the right completely lose their minds. We have nurses using food banks, the right don’t care. We have farmers with land worth £Ms… we must /1

If you’re poor and you’re struggling they tell you, cancel Netflix, stop getting Costa, you’re lazy, or my personal favourite… go get a better job. If you own £Ms in land and worry about paying an extra tax… they have a protest for you. Ok got it.

“He’s behaving as if he’s a co-president and making sure everyone knows it,” one of two people told NBC This won’t end well newrepublic.com/post/188501/...

I’m gonna say goodnight. But don’t worry guys you’re stuck with me now. I’ll be getting the hang of this soon, just need to figure what’s appropriate and what’s not. But for sure I’ll be back on the politics because that’s my real passion. ✊

I just wanna say what a whole different vibe being here is. It’s so much calmer and I don’t feel like I’m losing my sh*t as I normally do. Also wanted to say how welcoming everyone’s been and I really appreciate that. You never know how much words can mean to someone. Thank you all 💜
