for my book on cozy design, I'm going to be doing a replay of Stardew Valley, are there any great QOL of content mods I should look into for it?

And that's a wrap on Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. Really great game, far more platforming centric than you might think from the screenshots. store.steampowered.com/app/2870350/...

For the stream tonight, we're back with more of Pipistrello and checking out the RTS Moduwar youtu.be/P1mxrtyMSdE

today is the penultimate part of my best of next fest coverage and tomorrow ends this 3 week marathon of #indiegamedev showcases youtu.be/b9LIT5YPfY8 here are today's shoutout 🧵

it's that time again to ask #indiegamedev for any hidden gem recommendations from the steam summer sale.

I'm working on my book on the cozy/wholesome games market at the moment. Is there an agreed-upon distinction between the two? And what would be a great example of a cozy game vs. a wholesome one?

Reposting it for the night folks in case you missed it. The latest part of my best of steam next fest series is up, and there are only a few more parts left.

starting up next, it's time for my weekly indie game showcase stream looking at new and upcoming indie games, and I'm always looking for more games to check out youtu.be/7Gn7di4fZ9s

I'm up to part 8 of my favorite games from next, and there are only a few more left and #indiegamedev shoutouts to give youtu.be/vc24lNjPbcE

I should start taking bets on the official total of games I covered between turn-based fest and next fest and see who gets the closest, as I think I've played more games in June than I have in the entire year.

As I'm editing my final best of next fest video, I'm reminded of reading some of the chest text from the Trails in the Sky game and how the writers were slowly going mad trying to come up with text to fill all the different chests, I'm starting to feel that madness right now.

we're starting the nightly stream next with more of Pipistrello and Path of the Abyss youtu.be/rYz5iSyjTts

It's time for part 7 of my favorite games from next fest, as we're about half way done the list youtu.be/PuUlcUrmK5Q, and here are the latest #indiegamedev shoutouts 🧵

one of the games I checked out from Next Fest apparently made heavy use of AI for its aesthetic, and I'm not sure if it's right to put it in the same list as all the other games that are AI-free.
