Latest addition to the GemPen 25 line, Onyx set in fine silver for the rollstop with resin I poured to resemble black granite. The resin has wisps of white with some holographic glitter throughout. Available online or in-store in Woodstown, NJ.

A quick look at some blanks just in! These will be fountain pens finished (hopefully) for the Baltimore Pen Show.

I’ve always loved pens, which is what got me started as a pen maker. Today I brought my Mont Blanc Meisterstuck rollerball & pencil set (sorry fountain pen fam, these pre-date my love for fp’s!) into work to fix a bent pencil clip Took it apart & in maybe 5 minutes had it fixed identical to the RB!

A few fountain pen caps freshly sanded and polished. Now to start a series of baths in ultrasonic cleaners before a final buffing.

3 weeks until the Baltimore Pen Show & 4 weeks until the Mid-Atlantic Turning Expo where you can find me as a vendor for both! It’s going to be a busy few weeks with my first back-to-back shows.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and it’s not too late to drop a hint or treat yourself! This GemPen fountain pen with Rose Quartz rollstop set in fine silver is available on my website or in-store. (please reach out if you want to stop by the store due to the incoming snow ❄️)

Pre-gaming by working on my year end taxes 😂

Not quite a fountain pen post, but I found myself thinking back to this day when Amy & Patrick Kennedy stopped by my store with their kids & thought I’d share. Amy at the time was running for Congress and wanted to learn first-hand about the difficulties small businesses faced during the pandemic.

Today was a busy day! Here’s a shot of another recently finished fountain pen (shown in the video earlier). This is my new GPS series. I cast the resin with translucent blue dye, purple mica, and splashes of pink mica. Available online, in-store, or at the Baltimore Pen Show if it lasts that long.

My just-finished Year of the Snake fountain pen! This is the only one available (and I just listed it on my website). This is a super fun one to gaze at and see all of the swirling snakeskin patterns. Also available in-store and, if it lasts that long, the Baltimore Pen Show next month.

Incredibly happy with how this fountain pen turned out! This is 1 of the 2 blanks I posted video of the other da (the other pen looks just as amazing). Translucent blue due, purple mica, and splashes of pink mica. Hopefully I’ll have it online this weekend if it doesn’t sell in the store first.

A couple of future fountain pens I just took out of the mold 😍

A whole bunch of fountain pen sanding and polishing ahead of me today and tomorrow, but on deck will be these 2 pieces for Year of the Snake 🐍

A slew of D2 fountain pens ready for sanding and polishing 🙂

Working on what’s typically a day off because I don’t have shop gnomes showing up in the night to do things for me 😂 But that’s ok, won’t find me complaining about making pens! 🙂

A couple of new D2 style fountain pens being added to my site soon. One resin pour I call Island Vibes, the other is Ghostly Presence. Can you tell which is which? 😂

Quite possibly my hardest-to-photograph pen is now available on my website or in-store 🙂 The GW GemPen 25 Rose Quartz fountain pen features a Rose Quartz cabochon set in fine silver for a rollstop. The resin I cast for the pen is also named Rose Quartz, it just seemed the perfect match!

Fresh off the lathe! This will be polished and have a Rose Quartz rollstop added for my next GemPen 25 fountain pen.

My newest Garnet “GemPen 25” fountain pen, with a garnet set in fine silver for a rollstop. Resin pour I made with red, blue, and lavender. Perfect gift for Valentines Day? I sure think so! Available on my site or in-store (Woodstown, NJ).

LOVE how this one-off Brooks Blank looks with the Smoky Quartz rollstop! Just added to the GemPen 25 series on my site, I’m trying hard not to add it to my own collection lol.

Oh man! This is the kind of mail day that excites me. Some historically and culturally significant wood just returned from being stabilized, ready for the next step in being made into fountain pens!

Had a great time this weekend at the Philly Pen Show, thank you to everyone who stopped by! A little downtime now before getting back at it prepping for Baltimore in March. I still need to update some remaining fountain pen quantities for my website, but should have that finished in the next day.
