I’ve been expecting this. With Dejoy stepping down, I figured it was only a matter of time till he started on the Postal Service. I am retired. USPS. Hoping I will still have my retirement and health insurance, which comes through OPM. Our union president warned us about this. No one would listen.

I saw on the news today that the postmaster general was stepping down. Now this leaves Trump to appoint a new postmaster general. Maybe he’ll just try to sell the post office. Just thinking out loud here. Wondering what’s going to happen? Will I still have my retirement, my health insurance?

Just a thought B4 they delete: Went SSA.gov today & copied all of my earnings records. Started working in 1971 up until I retired 2015. I urge you to ck your benefits again, next ck date & print out copies of your EARNINGS RECORD. You might need this to prove your income for all the yrs you worked.

I’m retired USPS. My pension comes through OPM, and my health insurance is through OPM. I’m just wondering if anybody has heard, or knows if they started going after the Postal Service? We are technically federal workers and fall under the jurisdiction of federal employees.
