🚨 BREAKING - Road occupied at Strand outside the Royal Courts of Justice. Over 1,000 people are sat in the street holding a time-limited Exhibition in solidarity with the ‘Lord’ Walney 16. The People will not be deterred by extreme sentences of peaceful protestors. 🧵

Another regular #EastLondonKingfishers spot is the River Lea at Hackney Marshes where we have had in recent years two breeding pairs. Sadly this summer neither pair appeared to be successful in fledgling any young. Fingers crossed for next year. #birds #kingfisher #londonbirds #birdphotography

Last week it was amazing to meet & help Hamza Yassin (nature cameraman, TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing winner!) & the wonderful Lira find & film #kingfishers in east London for a nature series out next year. I was very relieved the kingfishers turned up! #LondonBirds #nature #birds

Inheritance tax is, of course, based upon the value of assets. Dodgy tax avoiders buying up swathes of farmland have driven up the value of agricultural land. When you tackle tax avoiders by closing loopholes, you actually help farmers who don't benefit from the overinflation of land value...
