Just finished this. Bittersweet ending with Liz, different silurians (not the ones on the cover) and mire Brig home life. Gary loves a continuity reference and boy there's plenty in this!

Fantastic! Lucy has had a book of her stories published! Congrats Lucy!! ❀️

RECORDING TONIGHT @johndavid.bsky.social and I will be discussing the first filmed story of the 5th Doctor, 'Four to Doomsday'. What's does everyone think of this take from 1982 and we'll read them out at the end!

Theatre of Blood (1973). Camp brilliance, Vincent Price laps up the opportunity to bard it up and Diana Rigg, with shades and moustache, shows her class too. That electrocution was nasty. The puppies! Stunning cast too. Most useless police ever. The maid with Arthur Lowe πŸ˜‚ ham sandwich πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ 9/10

Julian Holloway, of Survival, has died 😒 remember him from watching the Carry On films too. 'Yeah, I go all the way' to Barbara Windsor πŸ˜‚

TONIGHT FROM 8PM! : Bob Lowes joins us as our trial of Series 7 continues with The Silurians next before the court! But will it be found guilty or not guilty of crimes against #DoctorWho? The decision, as always, is yours... youtube.com/live/bcXPaHV...

Really like the space opera feel of this empire, and James Wilby has a suitable 'guy under mask' voice as Tenebris, who bloody gets away with no jail! The Doc channels Tom and knocks a guy down! Ep3 is the best, as we find out the juicy backstory. Annoying Cawdorans grate after a while. #MiniKettle

In the second part of my chat with Melvin (@melvinpena.bsky.social), he explains why he was relieved when the Jodie Whittaker era, an era he loved, came to end, and his story with Doctor Who podcasting. anchor.fm/drwho-whats-...

Join Joe, @davidjgp1983.bsky.social Steven B @paulcresser.bsky.social as we face murderous reptiles, the menacing Malus, terrifying Tractators, deadly Daleks, cursed Kamelion & toxic Spectrox! But who will suceed? podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/a...

It's time to go green!! says a warped Bob Geldof πŸ˜‚ a rehash of much of Seeds - but Marlow ain't a patch on Chase and a saw aint the crusher machine. Great the Doc is still recovering from his time on Orbis. You environ-mentalist πŸ™ˆ why are humans so bloody stupid with our planet? #MiniKettle

Coming tomorrow - season 21 Strictly! @davidjgp1983.bsky.social Steven B & @paulcresser.bsky.social come face to face with all these nasties!

Antoher plug for my latest video on YouTube… taking a single photo and then talking about it for 4 minutes. How very on brand! youtu.be/_yBtvQa4nqE?...

In the first part of my chat with Melvin (@melvinpena.bsky.social), we explore his journey into Doctor Who via a number of other show that were important to him. anchor.fm/drwho-whats-...

Tegan Jovanka!! Great day out with my sis at Capital Sci-Fi Con

Aldred is great as a posh girl! An itriguing opening on the cable car. McCoy is always excellent performing. That jaunty rhyming tune! 🎢 it's pretty obvious who the villain is, but they are as devious and sinister as ever. Try to make your heart beat go down?! 😱 very well written. #MiniKettle

Today's the day to tell someone you've always loved how you really feel about them.

Current episode pitches I have in my head: Kraal Intentions (Cruel Intentions but with Kraals) You Can Call Me Kraal (a Kraal divorces Carrie Fisher and discovers world music) They Think It’s Kraal Over (Kraals try to change the outcome of the 1966 World Cup) A View to a Kraal (Kraal Only Fans)

Clearly I'm off to see the Brigade Leader

Donna - with and in a crab! I'll never eat whelks again πŸ˜‚ characterisation is spot on with every release in this series. Dark Tourism to the extreme on this planet, BBC budget would be blown creating this place visually. Pocahontas! πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆoh Donna, we all miss your insults. Tate is fab. #MiniKettle

This Saturday we celebrate 5 years of Too Hot For TV with: @markdonaldson.bsky.social @docoho44.bsky.social @mikeysmithuk.bsky.social Luke Molloy Jackson Rees Lee & Cam of @thepolisbox.bsky.social & me ....in a "dramatic" reading of Richard Franklin's 'Recall UNIT: The Great Tea-Bag Mystery'.

Ive said it before, and I'll say it again, these Loose Cannon recons are fab. Working my way through Marco Polo and enjoying it immensely.

A masterpiece (excuse the pun) from my fav master, who oozes malevolence and plays all his roles beautifully. His godfather persona is a deliciously evil plan. I just don't buy Yee Jee Tso as an agent. The Masters trap is genius, he's a real devious bugger. We need more vault stories! #MiniKettle

So The 39 Steps, but just as interesting. Never trust sweet old ladies in DW πŸ˜‚ Charley, you have been nieve (throughout this story!) πŸ™ˆ did S Moffat nab the ending for Deep Breath? Top marks for India Fishers Scottish accent as the minister, and Maloneys plumy mystery man charms. #MiniKettle

Back to the EDA reviews (sorry, real-life got in the way!) Anyway, it's time for Alien Bodies - triumph or disaster? My blog is here: medium.com/@rod778/6-al...
