Thank heaven coding is just my hobby. Haven’t written a single line of code in two months. I haven’t even registered a new domain. I do have some ideas, but won’t start anything until Laravel 12 and the new the starter packs have launched.

Whoa… I hope that whoever got access to my account managed to make some better investments than I usually do 😣

How many podcasts are you subscribed to? I have just unsubscribed from 15 podcasts (most of them technical, laravel related or related to saas/marketing) and are now down to 10 on other topics

Anyone have or know of an open source Laravel project that could use my contributions? It would have to start with relatively simple things, but I’d love to contribute to something so I can learn from the process. #Laravel #OpenSource #GitHub

Just realized I can use Laravel Prompts in my seeders, so a php artisan db:seed could ask for amounts and even which seeders to run. Don't know when I'd use it, but still kinda cool

This is fun howtall.is/haheap.bsky....

After years of renewing my annual subscription, I finally went for the Forever plan on Laracasts. The BEST place for PHP and Laravel tutorials year after year. If you're not already subscribed, I really recommend it. If you want to give it a try, feel free to use my affiliate link below.

When do you build your site assets in Laravel (npm run build) for production? When pushing to master (eg git workflow) or directly on prod/staging server?

Why do smoke detectors always run out of battery in the middle of the night?

Having a damaged tooth removed this morning. Send more ice cream please

After leaving X, I find myself going to Reddit every now and then. Just to get a bit of drama that I don’t find here 🦋♥️ Lovely to have drama ‘ad libitum’ instead of being stuffed with it.

Starting in January, I would be open for some consultancy / freelance work. If anyone needs an extra set of eyes 👀 or hands 🙌 on their project, let me know.

Imagine the plot twist if @aaronfrancislives.bsky.social actually is Aaron trolling us all 🤔

Too much hate on the internet these days. So let me just say that I "do not like" working with XML files. And why does a vendor only provide a product feed as XML when their entire website use a full blown api that could easily be made available for affiliates?

Maybe I should set up a pseudo account just for the stupid dad joke replies I try to restrict myself from posting here. Yes, I will twist anything you say to find a witty angle. I will laugh out for myself and see myself as a comedy genius. Then I'll move on and the joke is gone forever. Lucky you.

The latest PhpStorm features of autodetecting Herd's PHP interpreter and simple options for running Pest in more advanced ways, are just some of those small things that make my day with Laravel a little better and simpler.

Today, part of my brain wants to build a price comparison system for bike parts and accessories using Laravel. The other part of my brain is screaming I should start folding laundry instead. So... Step one is to find a perfect domain name, right?

This one is somewhat appropriate after my #LaraconAU talk: Dependencies are security risks, especially if you have a lot of them or don't keep them updated. Remove the ones you don't need, and update the rest! https://securinglaravel.com/security-tip-keep-dependencies-updated/ #Laravel

Wonder why the Dropbox app on Windows needs access to my location🤔
