A big problem in modern America is that people are way too blasé about being lied to (and/or about). If someone lies to your face, in a way that is obvious to all parties, that is a fucking INSULT and I don't care if you're a reporter, a politician, whatever, you need to tell them where to shove it.

One thing Stephen Miller and Trump intuitively get is knowing who they can hurt without much consequence; they wouldn't try otherwise. That same bully's instinct basically explains how cops operate. On top of every other odious thing about this, Biden is making the same calculation. It's disgusting.
