Some extremely concerning things are going on with Reddit. A slew of subreddits were banned overnight, most nsfw subs. It looks like the bans have been reversed but this is a huge shot across the bow of free speech.

I wouldn't normally jump to placing blame when tragedy strikes but Trump did start firing people without care and Musk pushed out the head of the FAA. Those things are important and connected. In a normal world these decisions and results would jeopardize a presidency.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

For the first time in 30 years, I was actually nervous going to Newark New Jersey today. I wasn’t worried about the violence. I was worried about ICE because the rumor is they are indiscriminately grabbing everyone. Based on previous interactions with them, I wouldn’t be surprised one bit.
