A post it note has just made my day! I was out a a CPD event yesterday so left Computing lessons for a “Random Supply teacher” for my Y2 and Y6 classes (Y2 doing AR & Y6 AI Machine Learning). Asked the Y4 Digital Leaders to support the Y2 class. I just found a lovely note from said “Random Supply”

I’m loving watching my daughter’s unmasking phase &supporting her on her journey finding her authentic Autistic self…& I know it’s her love language, &I am so happy that I am her safe person…but the infodumping!!! 2hours straight tonight on all sorts…I had so much to do, but I smiled & listened🥰

The NHS is incredible, A&E nurses are literal angels (I genuinely am in awe of their levels of tolerance and patience in the most challenging of workplaces) and morphine is the best thing since sliced bread. The NHS is also totally broken and on its knees.

Very useful and thought provoking conference held by the incredible Springhallow Special School in Ealing today.The keynote speaker @kieranrose.bsky.social was inspiring & made me question my biases &…well..everything really! The Cyber security bit was great too. Now it’s half term baby!!!

We’ve had a wonderful artist in school for the past week working with our “Art Ambassadors”, to create an amazing mural. On another wall, children and staff were encouraged to paint a square. If you think about potential warning signs that a system isn't meeting needs, an increase in exclusions and a decrease in attendance would be two obvious ones to look for. The DfE is not going to be able to increase #inclusion simply by Ofsted-ing it. They have to look at the wider system. #EduSky
