I followed the signs to the super shuttle where a guy looking like Bob from Twin Peaks took my bag. I’m now in a small bus in the dark with 8 strangers.

We landed around 40 minutes late after a near landing them pull pull up, circle around and do it again. I searched NZ airlines to see what happened and found an alarming number of incidents I’m glad I didn’t know before I boarded the plane.

My view is they need to be run by the people doing the work (inc not academics). The idea that because many managers are or have been academics is (ahem) academic. They are obv not run by or in the interests of most ppl teach/researching.
