yup this sounds about right. I think next fest is going to be even more luck of the draw going forward with simply how many demos are gonna be there. we were sorta shocked by the low numbers yet we were definitively one of the better demos in terms of performance (at least top 100 of thousands)

So... Steam Next Fest happened again, and the number of folks that have been disappointed by their game's performance seems to be growing higher and higher. I looked at the number of demos launched on Steam in the window of each Next Fest the past five years, and.... 🤯

The same week Switch 2 came out, Playdate season 2 dropped and I gotta say - Playdate is a far superior product. An absolute joy of a device full to the brim of delightful experiences
