Gutted about the passing of Rickey Henderson. The greatest leadoff hitter, basestealer and runscorer of all time. He made every team he was on immediately better. When he joined the Blue Jays in 1993, he did that again. He was on base when Joe Carter hit the Series-winning walkoff homer. RIP.

What a talent. The record he broke was the 1968 record of Peter Norman - the third man on the podium when John Carlos and Tommie Smith made their famous podium statement at the Mexico City Olympics. It will be fascinating to watch Gout Gout become a global phenomenon.

Where's the quickest ice you ever played on? Back in the days of running time time clocks, sometimes when it was super-quick you had to be careful throwing too many draws - the shots could take nearly 30 seconds to get down the ice. #curling
