There is a widespread wish in Europe to go beyond 3% of GDP for defence and many are now pointing to 🇵🇱Poland & 🇩🇰Denmark Denmark is a special case as the public finances surplus was the highest in Europe with 92,7bn DKK (14.4bn €) or 3.3% of GDP in 2023 and est 2,3% in 2024

🇩🇰 Denmark today increases the defence budget with 50bn DKK (6.7bn EUR) plus 10bn DKK (1.3bn EUR) extra per year until 2033 going 2.4% of GDP in 2024 to 3.2% in 2025. As discussed probably 50bn more is needed for acquisition.
