With warm dry weather expected to continue, please provide shallow dishes of water for wildlife. Some hedgehogs, like Basil here, will pop out in the day for a refreshing drink if there's a dish near to where they're sleeping. So long as they're under cover+return to bed, there's no need to worry

Herb has had his broken leg fixed by our wonderful vet yesterday. He didn't get up last night. Likely due to all the meds he had been given for his operation. He's had some sub cut fluids this morning just to support his body whilst it metabolises the meds. #hedgehogs

Hedgehogs do not sunbathe so if they're sleeping or laying out in the open, are obviously injured, surrounded by flies, are trapped in netting or down a hole or are a lone hoglet... Here's first aid and contact your nearest rescue for advice or get it to one of our hedgehog knowledgeable vets

Harry is a little monkey 🤭 +72g in 5 days. this morning his poop samples were clear of parasites. His medicine is working 😀 He's got some way to go to complete treatment, re-grow lost fur & prickles due to his ringworm infection. Keep going little lad we hope you feel a bit better #hedgehogs

A little shy of the camera but Harry takes his medicine well and gained 20g overnight. 431g. You can see the effect of his fungal skin infection in these - fur loss and prickle loss as well as crusty skin. #hedgehogs #wildlife #pricklypals

Little Harry has ringworm, lungworm, roundworm and fleas. He's just shy of 400g bless him. Treatment started. He'll be having antiparasitics, antibiotics and antifungal medicine. All donations received are shared between our active members. #pricklypals #hedgehogs #wildlife
