8 yrs ago a cowslip popped up on the verge between my cottage & my next door neighbour Debbie’s house. We mowed round it & have done so ever since because wildflowers are precious. Yellowstone '05-06: I've only seen baby/juvenile pikas a few times over the years. This was my first sighting, though I think it took me a while to recognize that this was a youngster. Apparently it is possible to be even cuter and more orb-like than an adult pika.
