🌱 "I think I ca n, I think I can!" Echinacea hybrid "Pretty Parasols", seeds from my own plants. I believe the variety is a hybrid of E. pallida and E. purpurea. I don't know if they'll come true from seed, but I really like the variety, so it's worth a try.

For valentines, here’s a snowdrop with heart-shaped markings. Galanthus elwesii ‘Fred’s Giant’, growing at Cruickshank Botanic Garden (Aberdeen) was discovered in the 70’s by Fred Sutherland who was then head gardener. It’s a real big beauty 🤩 🌱
